[Test-Announce] Fedora 22 Beta to slip by one week
Today at Go/No-Go meeting it was decided to slip Fedora 22 Beta release by one week due to unresolved blocker bug [1]. More details in meeting minutes [2]. As a result, ALL MAJOR MILESTONES, and their dependent tasks, will be pushed out by one week [3]. The next Go/No-Go meeting is on Thursday, Apr 16, 17:00 UTC at #fedora-meeting-2 channel on FreeNode. I've just tried Fedora-Live-Workstation-x86_64-22_Beta-1.iso on a USB-stick. I don't reach the desktop, the session apparently stucks with the message "A start job is running for Wait For Plymouth Screen to Quit". startx on another TTY makes me correctly jump to a Gnome session. -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test

I have an Acer Aspire VN7-571G. I don't know wether this one has hybrid graphics, but the F22 Beta RC1 Workstation live image does not reach a desktop. It hangs with the fedora logo. Koos. Auto Login and Logout?
Does this work as intended? I had enabled "Automatic Login" in GNOME Shell Users settings. Then, when logging out, the system is stuck at an unusable virtual console. Nothing happens. All I can do is switch to another console and reinit runlevel 5 to get a GNOME session again. -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
