What version/how did you install? I know this was a problem in during the
early releases...but thought it was fixed.

Well, sure, which is why it's not 'prime time' yet :) It's always good
to report these issues with Wayland, but something that obvious I'd
guess probably is already reported...still, check with the #fedora
-desktop folks.

I was confused, possibly by the "Login Screen Over Wayland" feature
(which I clearly didn't read closely enough or mid-remembered).

I was hopeful, because there is one important feature that Gnome
over Wayland has handled better than plain Gnome: Managing
multiple monitors. The Settings/Display configurator has been
rather flakey for a while (going back a while to F21 until very
recently), refusing to Arrange Combined Displays as requested,
and refusing to make the external monitor primary. (This is
possibly related to that my external monitor is UHD.)

It's correct right now, but I'm not sure I trust it yet ...

Middle-click paste works on at least some non-Gnome applications, including

Kernel or freedesktop bugzilla against the appropriate graphics
driver, probably, but it'd be good to run through the graphics
debugging process and see if you see any indicative messages (boot
with drm.debug=14, reproduce the issue, and look in the journal for

Could have been me :)

1. It does not happen with f21
2. Where should I report this (other than here?)

IIRC someone's reported this already, also on the X1 Carbon, so I
think it's a driver issue there.

I don't think I explained this well. I can get a VT by hitting alt-ctrl-f2,
for example, but it is not usable. I can see there is a login prompt, but
the screen is going nuts flashing - the video is all screwed up.

Don't the X1 systems have the function keys remapped in BIOS to actual
functions, as opposed to F1-12? IIRC, there's either a setting in the
firmware or a (soft) switch on the keyboard somewhere to turn this off.

So, https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/libdrm-2.4.61-3.fc22 seems
to fix it for me. From the upstream bug, this seems to affect a lot of
people in a lot of cases beyond the situation I noticed, so if others
with Nvidea cards can test, that'd be awesome.

This is a new Lenovo X1 Carbon (v3).

flashing and is unusable.

The above mentioned is made on Fedora 21, so translate the actual paths to 22
where necessary.

In the case the radeon.ko is in the initramfs image also,
# lsinitrd | grep radeon.ko
ask "Dr. Acut" for help,
$ man dracut

e.g.
# mv /boot/initramfs-$(uname -r).img /boot/initramfs-$(uname -r).img-bkp
# dracut -v
# reboot

For further readers, a bug have been filed [1] and so far it seems that there
are some checksum issues. We are taking a look at it. Please continue the
discussion there in case of a valuable input.
