I think the release announcement should be done before the release (with time to properly review it, etc.). That being said, I'm afraid that all this proposal will do is shift the last-minute scramble to the Go/No-Go meeting itself. I'd rather look for a solution that fundamentally makes the situation better, rather than just shifting the timing. Once again, you're so concise it's cryptic. Please try to be more descriptive as you report problems. What is a 3770? What part of the "startup" failed? How much memory is in your system? What program was trying to initialize "the 8 threads"? Not to sound to critical, but can I propose we use "freeze exception" rather than "freeze break"? I think the word "exception" helps people understand that we're taking something in that we normally wouldn't -- which is much more aligned with the message we're trying to send than "nice to have" ever was. And making an exception doesn't break the freeze (except for that one package), so I think exception fits better. -- Jared Smith -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test

While creating the key, firefox was completely unresponsive. Gnome terminal seemed to work just fine.
