Re: Gnome desktop not always logging in properly.

2014-03-17 Thread Vasilis Keramidas
I have the exact same problem. I had already submitted a bug with logs and
a screenshot for this. https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1075465.

Re: Fedora 20 naming process delayed & Alpha consequences

2013-08-26 Thread Vasilis Keramidas
I believe the second suggestion is the best. In this way:
a) A different wallpaper will be used to avoid confusion (the F19
supplementary wallpapers sounds as a good idea)
b) The design team will have enough time to create a F20 wallpaper for the
beta, based on the elected name.

2013-04-11 Thread Vasilis Keramidas
Problem still persists. Any other recommendations? Also I noticed that Xorg
process has a high CPU load.

2013-04-10 Thread Vasilis Keramidas
My desktop is really laggy. It is like using a Live CD and even worse. I
installed F19 Alpha RC2 bare metal. I have a Sapphire Randeon HD6850 and 4G
RAM. On the same machine
i have installed F18 and it works fine. Do i need to file a bug? Please
tell me what kind of info to provide in order to troubleshoot this problem.

Gnome 3.8 Test Day

2013-03-20 Thread Vasilis Keramidas
Tomorrow is the GNOME 3.8 Test Day. Unfortunately none of
the recent nightly live images has succeeded to build. Also i tried to
install F19 with the netboot image and using as source the
https://dl.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/development/19/x86_64/os/ .
Nor this worked. I had problem with the infamous GRUB2 apostrophe bug. A
lot of people who want to participate, ask me where they can find an image
to install so they can participate to the test day. Is any other way to get
a working F19 install image?
