Re: Anaconda is forcing GPT on non-EFI BIOS
It's probably by design as I looked up the anaconda/changes page[1] and found two features related: * x86 uses GPT disklabels by default on all machines, even non-EFI. * If a GPT boot disk is used on a non-EFI machine, a warning will be displayed. I was also forced to a GPT in a non-virtual system with a disk that is much smaller than 2TB (don't know the exact size right now, can look that up tomorrow CEST if it matters). -- red -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test

Anaconda is forcing GPT on non-EFI BIOS
Hello, I noticed when I tried to install F16 Alpha TC1 on a new guest ie: without any existing partition table that Anaconda is forcing GPT instead of msdos even on a classic BIOS (non EFI) Any idea why ? Thanks. -- Athmane Madjoudj -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
