Karma in F20

2014-12-01 Thread Jonathan Calloway
Greetings!

I was trying to contribute some karma for F20. However, it cannot seem to
contact Bodhi. Is it just me?

[callowayj@localhost ~]$ fedora-easy-karma
Getting list of installed packages...
Waiting for Bodhi for a list of packages in updates-testing (F20)...
[callowayj@localhost ~]$

Thanks!

 +1 for me.
I have added some karmas by visiting the updates web pages,
and you can,if you would like to, do the same before the fedora-easy-karma
works:)

Works fine for mejust took nearly 2 minutes to come back with the packages
that I've installed from testing.

inst. RPMS: wireshark-1.10.11-1.fc20.x86_64 - Network traffic analyzer
(installed 0 days ago)
   : wireshark-gnome-1.10.11-1.fc20.x86_64 - Gnome desktop integration
for wireshark (installed 0 days ago)

Comment? -1/0/1 -> karma, 'i' -> ignore, other -> skip> 1

It seems that f21 is also affected here:
 [lnie@localhost ~]$ fedora-easy-karma
Getting list of installed packages...
Waiting for Bodhi for a list of packages in updates-testing (F21)...
Cannot query Bodhi: ServerError(https://admin.fedoraproject.org/updates/list,
-1, Request timed out after 120.0 seconds)

You can also try to use fedora-gooey-karma, I think it uses a bit different
when querying for updates. (Of course, we should do something about
fedora-easy-karma and bodhi, it the issue persists. Just mentioning
alternatives.)

Thanks for testing.

Here it times out after 2 minutes: ;-)

$ fedora-easy-karma
Getting list of installed packages...
Waiting for Bodhi for a list of packages in updates-testing (F21)...

f-e-k is useless most of the time, due to this. The web interface continues
to work fine.

Would you be willing to point me to the web interface? Are you referring to
the web interface for Bodhi?

Thanks!

Yes, I was just referring to logging into bodhi.fedoraproject.org with your
FAS account and giving karma one package at a time.
