This is a mutual support list for Fedora pre-releases as well as the QA team's work list, remember - stuff like making VMware and NVIDIA proprietary drivers and other 3rd party bits work on Fedora pre-releases is perfectly on-topic, even though it's not Fedora's 'responsibility'. -- Adam Williamson Fedora QA Community Monkey IRC: adamw | Twitter: AdamW_Fedora | XMPP: adamw AT happyassassin . net http://www.happyassassin.net -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test

After all, it is the virtualization platform that already comes standard with Fedora, and therefore has more people on this list that will know how to support it, along with the benefit of not requiring you to recompile or complain to a third-party vendor. We'd love to know how to make the use of qemu easier to adopt. -- Eric Blake eblake redhat com+1-919-301-3266 Libvirt virtualization library http://libvirt.org signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test

Follow the instructions here: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/VMware#Configuration You'll need all 3 patches on a fresh F21 system. Note that the awesome Arch wiki people always keep this up-to-date, so keep an eye on it if newer kernels break things again or you need to do a new install. -T.C. -- test mailing list test@lists.fedoraproject.org To unsubscribe: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/test
