Any plans to provide a way to change the gdm background?

The 2.91.93-2 revision let you adjust your clock and (this one is not in
upstream yet) pick your icon theme :)

Sigh, I am. My bad, sorry.

I have my own python in /usr/local/bin; that breaks a *lot* of
Fedora-supplied Python programs. I'm not sure why the #! line doesn't
just point straight to the version of Python that the program has as a
dependency, but so be it. Once I use Fedora's Python, all is well.

I should have thought of that before posting, sorry. Nice tool - my menu
bars fit again and that makes me happy :)

Thanks,

jon

It's provided by pygobject2, which on F-15 is pulled in by gnome-shell:

$ rpm -q --requires gnome-shell | grep pygobject2
pygobject2
$ rpm -q gnome-shell
gnome-shell-2.91.92-1.fc15.x86_64

I just checked Rawhide's gnome-shell and pygobject2, and pygobject2 does
contain gi, so I'm not sure what's going on.

Could you provide the versions of gnome-shell and pygobject2 you have
installed? And could you 'import gi' from a Python shell?

Thanks,

I installed gnome-tweak-tool-2.91.92-3.fc16.noarch onto my rawhide system,
but no joy:

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/bin/gnome-tweak-tool", line 19, in
import gi
ImportError: No module named gi

Missing dependency, maybe?

Thanks for working on this. Doing stuff with gsettings is a pain unless
you already know the schema name and key name. I'll be trying this
tool out late tonight.
