More precisely from time of F20 skype for me works only on an i686 netbook and I could not get any sound from skype where I tried it on two (a desktop and a laptop) x86_64 machines regardless of a skype version (4.0.0.8-fedora, 4.2.0.13-fedora, skype-4.3.0.37-1.fc20). From a pavucontrol display a microphone, when plugged it, seems to be active but if skype gets any of this signal I cannot tell. Before updating these machines to Fedora 20 skype worked just fine for a number of years. I did not have a chance to try with F21 yet. Hello F21 testers, anybody runs skype-4.3.0.37-fc16.i586 in F21 with pulseaudio sound? On my box, skype does not produce any sound. Trying the same in F20 runs flawlessly (with sound and identical skype rpm). Any help is appreciated.
