Hi, I filed bug 1155274, sorry, I thought by putting Grub into the Whitelist the problem would be solved. Hi, I have had now a more detailed look into the Bios menues - I am really a no expert in things like Bios. There is in case of my Acer E15 E5-571G a button "Security" leading to "Select an UEFI file as trusted for executing" at the end of this menue steps I choose "grubx64.efi" etc. Now F21 on an USB drive can be run in UEFI mode. Windows 8.1 and F21, BIOS in UEFI Mode
Hi Samuel, I hit the F12 button then I got the menue: 1) USB HDD: Samsung SP.. -> the external disk with F21 on it 2) Windows Boot Manager .. But also choosing USB HDD in this menue results in the same error message. In a Fedora Forum I found a thread describing the same problem for F20: https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/question/39126/bootloader-has-not-verified-loaded-image/ The UEFI branch of this Acer Laptop has "Secure Boot" set to "standard", but I can not switch off Secure Boot, it seems to be blocked. I will ask the Acer support on Monday and then continue. Anyway I booted again the TC3 Live DVD in UEFI bios mode, installed YUM and reinstalled grub2-efi (in a terminal, su, yum reinstall grub2-efi) I got grub2-efi.x86_64 1:2.02-0.8.fc21 installed. Then run the installation to the external disk -> same bad result, booting not possible. Possibly I have to find a way to disable the Secure Boot.
