I synced the source and binary rpms to this teTeX-beta release. Grab them from
http://atrpms.physik.fu-berlin.de/teTeX/
(built, but not yet really tested on a RedHat 8.0 system)

This again is another sync point on the way to the next stable release.
You can use these sources with the texmf tarball from the last pretest
(20021216).
