Sorry - it is first now that I realize that what you request is actually the opposite of what I advice you to do. You'll have to *remove* option -b from your prepmx calling script in order to get rid of the unwanted beaming. The effect of -b is to force beaming *even* in case of vocal music - which I personally prefer. Without option -b M-Tx behaves in the standard way, i.e. beams only melismas. Regardless of the point of your message, are you saying there's something about meter changes that does not work in PMX? Is so I'd like to know about it, but I know for sure that "m" works as Andre described in the quote above. --Don Simons ___ TeX-music mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://sunsite.dk/mailman/listinfo/tex-music

But even if it did, the point of my message is different: that it's just one more 'if' in prepmx: if(eigths AND NOT (CHORAL OR VOCAL))... And it doesn't hurt anybody else. you can play with the meter number as yo can see in this example (sorry it is pmx): (if you dont want to see the meterchanges m8806 ---> m8800) = 1 1 4 4 0 6 0 -1 0 4 20 0 t ./ e8 e e e e e e e / m8806 e8 e e e e e e e / m16/16/0/0 e8 e e e e e e e / === Andre ___ TeX-music mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://sunsite.dk/mailman/listinfo/tex-music
