Re: [Tex-music] rest with a Triplet in MTX
With no inline TeX, this gets everything except two of the three brackets. Andre's solution got two of the brackets but not the third one. Otherwise, they look the same to me. Re: [Tex-music] rest with a Triplet in MTX
Sorry, i was missing something, i forgot that trios work with a rest in the first place. Even working more than 10 years with the amazing pmx, i still find more features. Andre wrote Sorry, i was missing something, i forgot that trios work with a rest in the first place. Even working more than 10 years with the amazing pmx, i still find more features. Well, if the rests had been in last position in the xtuplet, PMX would have needed lots of help. --Don Simons --- TeX-music@tug.org mailing list If you want to unsubscribe or look at the archives, go to http://tug.org/mailman/listinfo/tex-music
[Tex-music] rest with a Triplet in MTX
Hi: I'm with this problem, I can't find the solution in the manuals and don't know how to do this. The situation is that it must be in Solo style because I want to join this events in a whole sheet. Thanks for your help. Cirlahyattachment: triplet.png--- TeX-music@tug.org mailing list If you want to unsubscribe or look at the archives, go to http://tug.org/mailman/listinfo/tex-music
[TeX-Music] Rest in a triplet
Hello again, f4x3 rD makes a triplet with a very very low note instead of the silence. If I put f4x3 r r, I get : Sorry, PMX cannot end an xtuplet with a rest How could I do ? Thanks by advance. -- Jill-Jênn http://mickay.jill.free.fr/score/ ___ TeX-music mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mailman.daimi.au.dk/mailman/listinfo/tex-music
Re: [TeX-Music] Rest in a triplet
Here's how to substitute rests for notes. The \zcharnote commands gobble up the pitches of the notes and so keep the octave register right. Don't forget the a in the xtuplet main note, to cause separate stems in the quarter note triplet. c03 / c44 e4x3 eD c4 e4ax3 c c / \\def\qpforqu{\let\qut\qu\def\qu##1{\qp\zcharnote{##1}{~}\let\qu\qut}}\ \\def\dsforcu{\let\cut\cu\def\cu##1{\ds\zcharnote{##1}{~}\let\cu\cut}}\ c03 / c44 e4x3 \qpforqu\ eD c4 e4ax3 \dsforcu\ c \dsforcu\ c / -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Jill-Jênn Vie Sent: Thursday, August 02, 2007 4:50 PM To: Werner Icking Music Archive Subject: [TeX-Music] Rest in a triplet Hello again, f4x3 rD makes a triplet with a very very low note instead of the silence.
