Details:

Hello,

there is an extra space in html output after some predefined TeX
commands, as pointed out by the following MCE (compile with htlatex
and with pdflatex in order to see the difference):

\documentclass{article}
\begin{document}
\noindent\LaTeX{} foo

\noindent\LaTeX foo
\end{document}

Best regards.

[tex4ht] [bug #162] Extra space in html output with some predefined TeX commands

2012-05-17 Thread Bitouze

Follow-up Comment #1, bug #162 (project tex4ht):

Even worse, a spurious space is inserted before periods:

documentclass{article}
begin{document}
noindentLaTeX{}.

noindentLaTeX.
end{document}

[tex4ht] [bug #163] Make tex4ht aware of \cellcolor colortbl's command

Details:

Hi,

tex4ht is aware of \columncolor and rowcolor colortbl's commands but,
surprisingly enough, (silently) it ignores \cellcolor:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{colortbl}
\usepackage{array}
%
\newcolumntype{A}{{\columncolor{green}}l}
%
\begin{document}
\begin{tabular}{lA}
  \cellcolor{red} foo  bar \\
  \rowcolor{blue} bar  foo
\end{tabular}
\end{document}

[tex4ht] [bug #164] Spurious span with tabulars from ctable package

___

Details:

Hi,

the following MCE shows that a spurious:

span class=colorbox id=colorbox1.../span

is added by tex4ht when using tabulars from ctable package:

\documentclass{article}
\usepackage{ctable}
\begin{document}
\ctable{c}{}{foo}
\end{document}

This span leads to a spurious vertical rule in the generated html file
(removing the span removes the rule).

 This is an issue. I have had problems with biblatex.4ht. I have to hunt all
 over to find the most recent canonical version, and since everything is
 current on the Internet, multiple versions can all exist at one time. Where
 is the canonical source for these versions? When directing people to get the
 most current version, such directions are helpful.

I too would like to know where the official newest version of
biblatex.4ht is to be obtained. I thought it should be at
http://svn.gnu.org.ua/viewvc/tex4ht/trunk/texmf/tex/generic/tex4ht/biblatex.4ht?view=log,
but there I cannot find the version that I am using and which works with
biblatex 1.6.
But I know that
http://von-wachter.de/dateien/for-biblatex-1-6/biblatex.4ht
works with
http://sourceforge.net/projects/biblatex/files/biblatex-1.6/. To
install: first delete your current version of biblatex, then unpack
biblatex-1.6.tds.zip into your local LaTeX folder, e.g.
/home/miller/texmf/ .

It does not work with biblatex 1.7.

May I suggest that somewhere under http://www.tug.org/tex4ht/
instructions for using tex4ht with biblatex are posted? I have a note
about this on my page
http://von-wachter.de/lehre/students.html#latex, but one cannot find
this through searching the web.

That is correct and has always been correct. And when CVR posts a new
version there, I import it into TL (even though we've been unable to
make a full tex4ht release since Eitan died ... still in process).

http://von-wachter.de/dateien/for-biblatex-1-6/biblatex.4ht

Never seen that url before. Don't recognize the name. Nothing in the
file about who did it :(.

May I suggest that somewhere under http://www.tug.org/tex4ht/

I have the impression that CVR has pending changes for biblatex.4ht and
was waiting for user confirmation on the fix. Unfortunately I don't
have the bug report or fix at hand.
