[Texascavers] NO Longhorn Project in March!

2012-02-27 Thread Mark . Alman

All,

Just letting folks know that there will NOT be a Longhorn Caverns SP
Project this month!

Julia and I need to meet with the TPWD folks as to the stage of the
project and see where we need to go next.

(There's still a LOT to do!).

There WILL be an April project on the weekend of April 7th.

In the meantime, I would suggest getting out and down with either the
Deep Cave Survey, the Gov't Canyon project, or the Bracken Cave work
project this weekend.

Plenty to do until the LCSP project recommences in April.

See you then!

Mark and Julia

Re: [SWR] tshirts for SWR 50th anniversary

2012-02-27 Thread Peter Jones
Tan, Sand and Sports Gray are my three choices. The tangerine is about as
close as it would get to a burnt umber, but I know it would be WAY more orange
than a good burnt umber would be. I'll take at least two tees, probably three,
all medium.

[PBSS] Guads trip

2012-02-27 Thread Jacqueline Thomas
We had fun!
Thanks, Matthew and Alex, for the organization, rigging, etc. Thanks to Tyler
for stepping in with my pack.

Deep is a beautiful cave and I'm not too terribly sore…

Michael Queen said if we'd dedicate a whole day/trip to Pink Panther, he'll be
happy to lead a training trip for us. We'd still need to train with Jason later
but a whole day in Pink Panther is certainly something to look forward to!
