[Texascavers] UT/USS Grotto Meeting 7/29!

Greetings, cavers!

At the grotto meeting this Wednesday, Aubri Jenson will be giving a brief
overview of a research project on the morphology and genetics of Central
Texas amphipods!

The meeting, hosted by the University Speleological Society, is at 7:45pm
in Painter 2.48. Follow this link to a map of where the building is located

Officer contact, trip reports, event calendar, and new caver training links

Before the meeting, take advantage of Sao Paulo www.saopaulos.net for happy
hour specials. Attendance by cavers varies but this area is the best place
to park and meet folks walking over to the meeting. Then after the USS
meeting, we continue with the decades long tradition to reconvene for
burgers, beer, and tall tales of caving at Posse East.www.posse-east.com

I've received many announcements to send and have combined them into this one 
message.

Due to multiple requests from attendees, the deadline for discount registration 
for The Sinkhole Conference has been pushed back to 1 September 2015. To

I've been asked to share news on two new books, one on caves in Cyprus (see the 
attached file) and another on Slovenian Karst (which can be ordered from
