All this drama makes me wonder how hard it would be to get a cave rescue out in that county. But moreso, a cave accident in that county would likely lead to some kind of clusterph*ck scenario or worse - some kind of foobar situatuon. My excuses for not volunteering are way too lame to mention - only that my excuses are sadly more lamer than previous excuses in years past. I still remember being a young kid and having a desire to go cave exploring back in the 70s. Calling all Texas cavers, We had 2 cancellations for the O9 Well Trip April 21, which means we now don't have a team of 3 going underground. If ANYONE is vertically competent and willing to pay $10 to join TCMA (sorry, that's the rule if you aren't already a member, or if you can't pay it, I will pay your $10 membership fee), please email or call Ken Demarest (underground trip leader). Otherwise, the trip will probably be cancelled and the rancher will be sad because he won't get his well drilled.
