Re: [Texascavers] The owner of Honey Creek Cave's public statement at Tuesday's TCEQ public hearing

2019-08-24 Thread gpassmore
The sewage project is for Silesia Properties, that is part of a cluster of over
a dozen companies. I have a lot of information on them. If you are interested
contact me directly. I am reluctant to post details about the people behind
this project in a broad forum. I am against this sewage dump proposal
obviously…

2018-01-16 Thread gpassmore--- via Texascavers
Apparently a system length of 263 kilometers is nw official based on the
January 10th connection of Sac Actun and Dos Ojos. Maybe this is already well
known to many of you cavers, but it was news to me. :-)

[Texascavers] Las Pozas

2017-04-10 Thread gpassmore
This is for those of you who love Las Pozas in Xilitila cave country. A number
of years ago I did a documentary (never released) and here is the low
resolution teaser for it. It has footage of Edward james and his ex-wife (the
one the snake sculptures are all about). I ran across it today doing footage
searches for a client.

[Texascavers] Looking for LIDAR cave data and photos

2017-03-08 Thread gpassmore
Hi All. For the TSA Spring convention, I would like to prepare some virtual
reality experiences with a cave LIDAR dataset of a smallish room. Ideally,
there would be photographs of the area or photometric data with the point cloud
samples. If someone has data they are willing to share, I will get it up and
running on the Oculus and bring it to the TSA convention for everyone to enjoy.
The user will be able to walk around in the cave room. If there data is more
extensive, I can add in walkways for fun as well. Please write me at
g...@passmorelab.com you fit the bill. Credit, appreciation and lots public
praise will go to you for help on this.
