Lava Beds National Monument, in northern California, USA, is looking for an 
intern to work for four months, starting 12 January 2015, assisting with bat

Also next year, from 10-13 September 2015, the 21st International Cave Bear 
Symposium (ICBS) will take place in The Netherlands. The symposium is not 
limited to cave bear paleontology. The focus of next year's meeting will be on 
rich Pleistocene deposits (mammoths, bison, woolly rhinoceros, horses, cave 
lions, cave hyena, wolves, etc.) from when much of the North Sea was dry land.
