Hello cavers!
Have you been caving outside the US? How about giving a
presentation on it at this year's NSS Convention? Yvonne Droms and I
(Mark Minton) are co-chairing the International Exploration session
and we are looking for speakers. Any talk about cave exploration
anywhere in the world outside the US is welcome! (For exploration
within the U. S. there is separate day-long session).
The exact date for the International Exploration Session has
not been determined yet, but it will be either the Tuesday or
Wednesday of Convention week (Aug 3 or 4). Talks will be 20 - 30
minutes long depending upon how many presenters there are, and the
session runs from 9 AM to 5 PM. You will need to send us an abstract
of your talk by mid-May (only one month away!) so that it can be
included in the Convention Program. See also this link for more
