I am currently in the Alpine area and want to visit Short 'n Sweet Cave. I last visited it in the early 70's when I was a member of the Paisano Grotto at Sul Ross. I can't remember the directions or contact to get there. All I remember is that it was a nifty little break-down cave between Alpine and Marfa South of Hwy 90. We had to scramble down about 50' into a canyon to get to it. Can someone refresh my memory on that? I believe it to be in Presidio County (or Brewster). I also think the property may have belonged (or leased) to UT as there was a radio telescope out there.
