There was a story on NPR's Market Place on Wednesday about an abandoned limestone mine turned into an underground secure industrial park. <http://www.marketplace.org/topics/business/subtropolis-yeah-its-pretty-underground>. I'd heard of such places before, and in fact anyone who went to the NSS Convention in Indiana in 2007 attended the photo salon and banquet in such a facility.
