For those of you living under a rock (and there are always a few, after all,
we’re cavers!), the 41st Texas Cavers Reunion is almost upon us. Dates are
18-21 October. Location is once again the beautiful Paradise Canyon campground
west of San Antonio (http://paradisecanyon.com/). Registration costs are the
same as last year: $30/adult, $15/child, $80/family, $15/old timer, and $20
pass with no food. Your registration fee helps pay for the site, the
porta-potties, and the Saturday banquet (unless you opt out), and also gives
you access to the biggest Texas caver event of the year, with fellowship, a
parade, contests, vendors, sauna, TSA and TCMA meetings, riverfront camping,
TCMA fundraising breakfast, wine tasting (bring wine!), door prizes, and so
much more. Check out the TCR Facebook page for the latest updates. Maps and
directions will be posted in future emails. Young and old, beginner and expert,
active and armchair, if you are a caver living in Texas, lived in Texas, or can
spell “Texas,” this event is one you shouldn’t miss!
