The TSA election for 2015 has been completed. Ballot emails were sent to 161 TSA members. A total of 28 ballots were returned, which is a return rate of 17.4%. The following are the results: PositionNominee Votes === ChairmanKurt Menking 28 Vice Chairman Roger Moore 27 Mallory Mayeux1 (write-in) Secretary Heather Tucek28 Treasurer Ann Scott28 Mallory Mayeux received 1 vote as a write-in candidate for Vice Chair, but she had already been nominated and declined the nomination. Perhaps pile of rank caving gear or cuddly toy, just so we can see if the proposed candidate is more popular, or not... I have the tabulation of votes. But not the total number of voters. However, It appears that there were approximately 82 votes cast out of a membership of around 220. Due to production time pressures, TSA election results have already been published in the December TSA Activities Newsletter. All votes are in and have been counted, but the count has not yet been officially confirmed by a sober tribunal of three TSA members. If I can find three sober TSA members, that will happen tomorrow. Now that the hodag is out of the bag, barring any hanging chads or other irregularities, the elected 2006 TSA officers are: Chairman : John Brooks (DFWG) Vice-Chairman : Kara Dittmer (UTG) Secretary : Andy Gluesenkamp (UTG) Treasurer : Michael Cicherski (Bexar) Thanks for your participation, and thanks to those of you who took the time to renew your memberships!
