BOCKBEER IS 55? Damn I thought he was pushing 75 or 80. He should give his
daughter that podium ladder. Or maybe that lemon truck thing.

[Texascavers] Various rants

Does anybody have an exact headcount as to how many Texas cavers attended
the 2019 NSS Convention ? And former Texas cavers ?

4 % of attendees ?

I would be nice if each would post a report of their trip along with why a
newbie should not miss the 2020 NSS Convention. It is going to be amazing.

I think Mr. Schindel left out the funny part that the NSS was unable to
find a replacement for him.

I learned today that old-timer James Manning who lives in Dickinson is 83
is healthy enough to go caving. ( Mary Kay Manning's dad ). Someone
should interview him in a cave.

Had you been in Houston this morning on Dashwood Street, you would have
seen my 55 year old l*rd*ss, pushing my Sequoia all alone about a 1/4
mile. That nearly killed me, seriously. The tiniest gradient or pothole
made the task almost futile. But I am back on the road now with a giant $
700 hole in my wallet.

I have been pondering lately the first caveman to have had a teenage
daughter become interestes sexually in boys. For 100,000 years or more it
was perfectly sane and normal for a loving dather to trade his daughters
for an ox ( or oxen if she had a skill ). It is a good thing we recently
cancelled that part of our culture, cause I doubt I could get a goat for
Cavepearl. Please don't get me wrong, she is sweet, kind, smart,
beautiful. But she can't cook toast, nor operate any appliance -
especially the clothes-washing machine. She is demanding that I give her
$ 1,000 in two months for her Quincenera. She caused me to miss a day of
work this week, at a time that I can't be screwing up.

I am in a grumpier mood now that I am 55.

My next report should feature something about my new fancy podium-ladder,
assuming nobody steals it, where I abandoned it at.
