This is sort of cave related: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/scienceandtechnology/science/space/5625932/Salt-water-caverns-may-be-beneath-surface-of-Saturn-moon.html
Their theory is that gigantic caves are on Enceladus and that these caves are filled with salt water, and that aquatic troglobitic microbes could exist in such an environment. Note they propose a description of these caves as: "misty ice caverns floored with pools and channels of salty water." I guess you would need alpine caving techniques in a cave like that ?? --------------------------------------------------------------------- Visit our website: http://texascavers.com To unsubscribe, e-mail: texascavers-unsubscr...@texascavers.com For additional commands, e-mail: texascavers-h...@texascavers.com
