MicroSoft watchers posted today that computers sold in April should have the latest service pack SP1 installed on them.
They claim MicroSoft has stopped tweaking SP1, and it should be available for purchase or download in less than 5 weeks. The testers claim it is faster than the original version of Vista, but that the download will not fit on a CD, and takes all night to install on a good computer. Supposedly, the last time Apple made such an announcement, it only took 48 hours before it was available for purchasing on-line.
