Good point, in our case, the person who injects the dye is never assigned to collect the water or charcoal samples and doesn't perform the analytical tests. It's just easier to wear gloves and coveralls so that when you're done, you can strip down and don't have to worry as much about transfering the dye to your car, caving gear, or equipment.
