[Therion] Shape Files
Hi Stacho, all GIS (Geographic Information Systems) include shp import, for example GRASS GIS http://grass.itc.it/ . There is also QGIS http://qgis.org/ and QGIS is more easy to use and can be regarded as a free GIS format viewer. Hope that helps. There is also ArcView which is the closed source version. It is not cheap.
