Logic of the plan partion of Vajsablova map:

It is very simple. Indivual layers around whole black cave contour are just
previews below with offsets (and *color preview-below 0*).

To show interconnections between layers itself and individual layers to the
cave contour is a little bit more difficult.

I used very simple scraps contained just one "double point":

Then I created maps for each of them:

The I created maps for showing interconnections between layers (example for
two maps):

And finally I created whole map with "just interconnections maps" on the
top and individual layers (with the same offsets ofcourse):

The first point is different, because it has not interconnecton to the
other (higher) level but just to the cave contour...

The offsets used for showing interconnections between layers are manualy
computed as diferences between layers to the contour ofsetts:

Yes it is posible to do it different ways, but this by this way you can see
part of survey line pointing to stations which are not on the partial maps
also...

Quite aside from the vertical scalebar, that is a nicely prepared map of the 
cave.

I’m interested in the way that Juraj has prepared the plan where the passages 
are over top of each other.  I’m about to start drawing a vertical cave with a 
similar level of complexity.  I will experiment myself, but may as well ask 
what may be silly questions.

 

Has this been compiled entirely with Therion, or has it been post processed 
with the likes of Illustrator or Inkscape?

I presume the black plan passage is ‘preview below’, and that all of the plan 
scraps are simply offset from that?

The map-connection lines that connect all three instances of some stations. Is 
this standard behaviour or has this been custom coded?
