[tw] Re: Getting Details of a future date

2011-07-12 Thread TonyM
Thanks everyone for your contribution however you are a little off targent -
possibly my own fault.

I am using the reminders plugin, calendar plugin and date plugin

I have a sophisticated new journal entry
<><><>

and -omm-odd is the perfect format because it is sortable. It comes up
in my calander view this way and all is good.

The thing is I want to generate 45 future date journal entries to plan my
vacation day by day. So I am trying to template the journal entries with
Holiday travel and accommodation issues.

You can see from the above newjournal each day I want to log the days
activities i create a new tiddler and insert the Day of the week !DDD in the
tiddler.

The thing is if I want to generate these entries in advance I do not know
how to pu the Day of week in except manually.

*All I want yo do is take the tiddler title in -mm-dd format and use
this to determine the day of week for that date and display it in each
tiddler when I open it.*

Thanks for any ideas you may have.

[tw] Re: sliders output is different font?

2011-07-12 Thread joel
When EnableAnimations is on and I try to open a slider, the text is
difficult to read, no matter what font it is in. (It looks like text
in a .jpeg or .gif which has then been reduced in size.) This doesn't
occur when animations are off, and it doesn't occur when the slider's
default setting is "open." Eric's nestedSliderPlugin inherits the
same problems, however it does NOT do it to floating tiddlers.

Hans,

would you mind to write a summary of what did you come to with the
hierarchy? The thread is large, and the issue is important!

[tw] Re: Changing color of Dates

2011-07-12 Thread Yakov
> How to change the date color on the tiddlers

Hi TW-User,

as you can explore, the generated date is defined in the ViewTemplate
tiddler in the line

, ( )

oh, let it be some lines:

 ,

 (
 )

what you want is to change the styling of the spans 2-4 (they define
the grey text of date etc). Since they have no class, you should
change the style inside the template, like this:

 ,

 (
 )

The style="color:red;" is what you want (just change "red" to the
color you want). However, I'd recoment not to copy the multiline thing
I've written but rather add style="color:red;" things in appropriate
places (and let us know whether this worked right).

Although, this looks bulky. You can try another method: add

.subtitle { color: red; }

to your CSS. This shouldn't affect the

part, so it would be more convenient.

Could you specify what "unable to sort out the problem" means? What
did you try, what happened, what did you expect to happen?

I think you just need to url encode the permalink inside the pretty
link
so instead of [ you'd have %5B
and instead of ] you'd have %5D

So if your permalink is something like
http://colmjude.tiddlyspace.com/#GettingStarted
you'd put it in a pretty link like this
[[Pretty link|http://colmjude.tiddlyspace.com/#%5B%5BGettingStarted%5D
%5D

Hope that helps

Colm

Ist it possible to build a Nice looking link to a permaview within a
Tiddler which reopens the Wiki in the same Tab?
Ther seem to be some Handicaps
a in reopening in the same Tiddler and
b in putting a permalink into a tiddlywiki for it can't cope with double
or Quadrupel Brakets that would be necessary.#
Thanks a lot for help Jan

You can also include this space:
http://bulkop-spa.tiddlyspace.com

and navigate to
/bulkdelete
to delete all tiddlers from your space.

It seems to be working fine but hasn't been fully tested :)
