[tw] Autosave doesn't stay on.
I just got a new copy of Tiddly from the site and when I check Autosave it persists for the session, but not across sessions. Is this the intended behaviour or is it supposed to autosave forevermore after checking? fyi, autosave has always been like this for me (going back several versions and years) which is why i ask if it's the intended behaviour. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] Re: UploadTiddlerPlugin in Firefox????
Thanks Mans... I used that strategy for a while. only now I am wanting to have students also be able to upload from their own coomputers...so I cant realyy ask them all to go back to FF4. and its a bit strange to instist that they use an older version of FF from a USSBstick... if they have a newer FF installed.. makes us/me look a bit outdated. To now I have been using Dropbox to get around this with students.. but some find even that daunting as the Dropbox installation only works in english...and my people or often portugues- only people. As I said I loved UploadTiddlerfromFile guess I was hoping it could be resurrected. Thanks anyway Skye On 6 dez, 12:16, Måns wrote: > http://tinyurl.com/778cng7 > > On 6 Dec., 14:48, Måns wrote: > > > > > Hi Skye > > > I use FF portable v. 4.01 if I need to upload a TW to the net.: > > > Here's a customized version (added TiddlySnip and a local TW):http:// > > xn--mns-ula.dk/TW/#Download%20FF4TWPortable > > > I wonder if someone is capable of creating a xul-application - > > compatible with FF ver. 4.01... > > That could become a veritable TW-controlcenter for local TWs... > > > Cheers Måns Mårtensson -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. Hi Skye I use FF portable v. 4.01 if I need to upload a TW to the net.: Here's a customized version (added TiddlySnip and a local TW):http:// xn--mns-ula.dk/TW/#Download%20FF4TWPortable I wonder if someone is capable of creating a xul-application - compatible with FF ver. 4.01... That could become a veritable TW-controlcenter for local TWs... Cheers Måns Mårtensson -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] UploadTiddlerPlugin in Firefox????
Hi Again Returning to an old issue. Using UploadPlugin and UploadTiddlerPlugin (both from BidiXTW) from within recent Firefox versions. I previously reported that as of FF5 this plugin has some problems. Testing it again I find - UploadTiddlerFromFile - (uploading from local file) does not workin FF8 or Opera11 UploadTiddler ...(uploading from http file) works for FF and Opera... BUT... in FF gives the message that I have to save the file first...ignoring that message allows FF to finish the upload. but its rather annoying having to cancel a warning message everytime. On the other hand Opera does not give that annoying message and makes the upload without any hiccups. So.. how can I get rid of that FF warning message ANDis there any possibility that UploadTiddlerFromFile will ever make a come back (work again) - I really loved that one Thanks in Advance Skye -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] Re: Display Tabs by Month
Hi Skye I wouldn't be surprised if there are other solutions or plugins for your blogfunction. But a similar function can be created with FeT. Like the example here: http://bijl.iriscouch.com/phil-empty-ctw/_design/tiddlycouch/_list/tiddlywiki/tiddlers#Archives The list only shows tiddlers tagged "content" (change that to "blog"). As you see in the example there are only posts in 2011-09. But a list generated like the example would look like: 2011-11 -2011-11-02 title -2011-11-01 title -2011-11-01 title 2011-10 -2011-10-05 title -2011-10-02 title 2011-09 -2011-09-19 title -2011-09-19 title -2011-09-19 title Perhaps this example could be a start point...(for a blog I would also like to have the year (year+month)) And...if you have your desired solution it would be great if you spend an article about it on tiddlywiki.org ([[List tiddlers per month]] or something...)
