2012-12-17 Thread Helge
Thanks Michał,

so far it seems to work. No changed encoding or shredded Umlauts with
2.7.0b2. :-)

[tw] Re: Can't import

2012-12-17 Thread vayira
Ok I've done it by copying & pasting into the storeArea

It seemed to sort itself out fine after I've done that. Can save again now.
Phew!!

Is that firefox extension going to have long term support? Will Tw ever
work in Chrome?

[tw] Can't import

2012-12-17 Thread vayira
Firefox 17.0.1on debian stable
T.wiki to import *from* 2.1.3
T.wiki to import *into* 2.6.6

I just get the message "Opening the workspace" and nothing happens

I have a lot of info in the wiki (333k)

Need to do this because my Ffox just upgraded itself & won't save.
Installed tiddlyfox which works with 2.6.6 but not with 2.1.3 which is
where all my info is.

Any suggestions?

Still does not work, at least not for me :(

It may be interesting to note, that this was no behavior introduced with FF
17, but with the update 17.0.1

2012-12-17 Thread Jyotirmoy Saikia
Hi,

I'm facing exactly the same problem like Manny. I followed all the 8 steps
as suggested Jeremy. But the import failed with this message:* **Error
retrieving tiddlers from local file, please make sure the file is in the
same directory as your TiddlyWiki. Click Cancel to try again*.

My version of Firefox is: 17.0.1.

Thanks.
