On a thread in this group I read once that renaming the file (changing the 
name of the tiddlywiki file) does the trick.
I do not know why that would work but it has usually worked for me (with 
TiddlyWiki Classic).
The error message might come back, especially after I've tweaked and 
changed a lot of tiddlers (worked with plug-ins and stylesheets), but then 
I rename the file again.
I also make sure I close any other open instances of TiddlyWiki (also read 
about that in this group) and even went so far as to reboot the computer at 
times.
But renaming has worked very reliably for me.

Hmm, yes, I could do that. I could also add an option that
enables/disables the search (disabled per default with a warning that it
is not good and still experimental).
