[tw] hook into tiddlywiki onclick handler

2016-11-19 Thread Dominik P.
hello :)

i would like to hook into the onclick event handler of the tiddlywiki and
access the parent container (wiki is loaded in one of its iframes)
so the parent container scrolls/tabs to the url related iframe and loads
the url in the target iframe instead of opening a new tab

is it possible?
where would i place the code? somewhere in boot.js?
e.g.:

$(function(){
//parent.$(parent.document).trigger('eventhandler');
document.onclick = function (e) {
 e = e ||  window.event;
 var element = e.target || e.srcElement;

 if (element.tagName == 'A') {
//someFunction(element.href);
if(element.href.includes("http://somelinkiwantinsideotherframe";))
{
parent.loadIframe("otherframe", element.href);
return false; // prevent default action and stop event propagation
}
 }
};
});

thanks for your help!

[tw] my portable hosting/sync solution for tiddlywiki (windows)

2016-08-23 Thread Dominik P.
my issue was:
- i have my wiki synced through my home network via nas sync and hosted on
nas web server
and i
- would've had to change the filepath variable for external files all the
time (which wouldve been overwritten via sync)

so i wanted to share with you the solution i came up with: (maybe it helps
someone)
i used microapache from dokuwiki standalone download and modified it a bit
(so everything is in the wiki folder) and added store.php and relative
paths inside wiki everywhere

so this solution works on my local windows-computers the same way like on
my nas-webserver without changing anything

so

when im on a local computer/(or usb drive) i simply run run.bat and am able
to autosave (with store.php/without taking portable firefox+plugnin with
me) and access external stuff inside my src folder like mp3s mp4s etc. with
iframe/html5 video/audio tags

 let
me know what you think
greetings,

dominik

[tw] Re: import files to subfolder

2016-08-19 Thread Dominik P.
well i did a node js script workaround which

   1. reads from a folder "import" all the files which should get imported
   2. move the files to my external files folder "src"
   3. create .tid files which handle the visualisation per filetype
   4. also adds tags if i wish to

not the best solution but saves me some time
here in case someone wants to use it:

"importexternal.js"

var tags = "";//tags for .tid files

var fs = require( 'fs' );
var path = require( 'path' );
var process = require( "process" );

var moveFrom = "/volume1/web/wiki/import";
var moveTo = "/volume1/web/wiki/tiddlers/src";
var tiddlersPath = "/volume1/web/wiki/tids2import/";//after i run the
operation i'll drop those inside tw5 and delete em

// Loop through all the files in the temp directory
fs.readdir( moveFrom, function( err, files ) {
if( err ) {
console.error( "Could not list the directory.", err );
process.exit( 1 );
}

files.forEach( function( file, index ) {
// Make one pass and make the file complete
var fromPath = path.join( moveFrom, file );
var toPath = path.join( moveTo, file );
var title = path.basename(file);
title = title.replace(/\.[^/.]+$/, "");//remove .filetype
fs.stat( fromPath, function( error, stat ) {
if( error ) {
console.error( "Error stating file.", error );
return;
}

if( stat.isFile() )
console.log( "'%s' is a file.", fromPath );
else if( stat.isDirectory() )
console.log( "'%s' is a directory.", fromPath );

fs.rename( fromPath, toPath, function( error ) {
if( error ) {
console.error( "File moving error.", error );
}
else {
console.log( "Moved file '%s' to '%s'.",
fromPath, toPath );
var stream = fs.createWriteStream(tiddlersPath + "/" + title + ".tid");
stream.once('open', function(fd) {
 //stream.write("created: " + timestamp + "000\n");
 //stream.write("modified: " + timestamp + "000\n");
 stream.write("tags: " + tags + "\n");
 stream.write("title: " + title + "\n");
 stream.write("type: text/vnd.tiddlywiki\n\n");
 var filetyperesult = file.indexOf("mp3") > -1;
 if(filetyperesult){
  stream.write('<>');
 } filetyperesult = file.indexOf("mp4") > -1;
 if(filetyperesult){
  stream.write('<>');
 } filetyperesult = file.indexOf("pdf") > -1;
 if(filetyperesult){
  stream.write('<>');
 }
 stream.end();
});
console.log( "created '%s'.tid", title );
}
} );
} );
} );
} );

[tw] import files to subfolder

2016-08-18 Thread Dominik P.
hello tw5 community

i would like to drop files (mp3 mp4 jpg ..) inside tw5
and instead of importing them to save them to a subfolder and create a
tiddler with filename as title
and inserted content based on filetype (mp3 mp4 jpg
..) associated templates (e.g. filepath inserted inside src="")

any help appreciated
