[tw] R: Re: TiddlyWiki on eBook reader?
Seeing would be something. Unfortunately, it seems not everyone supports it: the Nook, for instance, neither has a browser nor lists HTML as a supported file type. But I guess I could choose one that does have this capability for not much more. More intresting is that after some further reasearch, I found out that the Nook being actually Android can be rooted, and can have Android apps installed. So I could put there AndTidWiki, that would be perfect! Could this be done? Has anyone tried it before? [tw] TiddlyWiki on eBook reader?
Would it be possible to convert a TiddlyWiki into a form readable on an eBook reader -while preserving its linked structure? It would be wonderful. I have found a thread discussing the possibility of converting eBooks to Wikis, but no one seems to have considered the opposite; maybe because it's trivial, in which case I hope you'll endure my ignorance (and give me anyway a hint on how to do it). -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] link autocomplete
Hallo all. I have this problem, that I often find myself using the search function just to remember how exactly I named the tiddler I want to link. Is there any plugin that can automatically do the lookup for me, take what I typed after a double opened square bracket and present a list of the names that could complete it? Eventually not always, but maybe afer a "tab" pressure. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "TiddlyWiki" group. [tw] Re: TiddlyWiki mobile
hanks for answer! So: JsMath, installing fonts, it seems to require root... I'd do it only if it's really the only option. My SD card is formatted as FAT16, and is only 1Gb... I don't know if i can safely change it to a ext* without messing up with the whole system (again, Android should be Linux, but but but...) I don't use an actual browser, I have downloaded the specific application AndTidWiki. But, I have tried MathSVGPlugin, and it won't work, so I suppose this means MathML is not supported. I was looking for using the wiki offline, so again, net-based solutions are out of target. Tomorrow, I think I'll try ASciencePad and MathJax, hoping one will work. [tw] TiddlyWiki mobile
Hallo everybody! I have been using TiddlyWiki for quite some time, and I am very happy with it. Now, I'd want to be able to use it also on my Android mobile phone. I have found AndTidWiki to open it, and the alternative layout iTw to fit it into the little screen. But now I am blocked by my need to use a LaTeX extension for math... I used JsMath, but it requires installation of fonts and so is not very portable. Also I hear it's old, and has been just repaced. I tried another one, but it refuses to work with iTw complaining it's "old". So: does anyone know of a LaTeX plugin that will work on Android with iTw?
