Hi Jeremy, how is the development of the TW2->TW5 converter going? Is
there somewhere I can check it's status?

Thanks

Any news on this upgrade path? I still have a mass of my information in TW
Classic and would love to move on to TW5.

Thanks, TD

I'm finding it frustrating that an upgrade without using a the tw2parser
seems messy. Why wasn't there a one stop conversion utility built? Is it
just too hard to automate?

With the message: This tiddler is written in TiddlyWiki Classic wiki text
format, which is not fully compatible with TiddlyWiki version 5. See
http://tiddlywiki.com/static/Upgrading.html for more details.

[tw] upgrade.html does still requires an upgrade on each tiddler

2015-05-27 Thread TD
I've downloaded my V2.6.1 TWC from tiddlyspot. I've opened both a local
and remote version of upgrade.html in Firefox. I drop my tiddlyspot file
onto upgrade.html, import all and save. When I open the upgraded file all
of the tiddlers still have the upgrade button. I thought this process was
supposed to prevent that. How can I make it work so I don't have to
upgrade each of my many tiddlers?

Thanks,
TD

[tw] MPTW plugin errors and badly formatted links

2009-02-22 Thread TD

Hi all, I've recently returned to using TiddlyWiki and I've hit a few
issues I'm hoping someone can help with. I'm using MPTW 2.5.2 and
Firefox 3.05 (mostly).

When I see the plugin manager on multiple TW sites it's rare if I
don't get at least 1 plugin come up with a status of error. Usually
it's a syntax error and mostly about closing bracket or parenthesis
after a list. Is this something about different strictness in
checking for errors. Are there any firefox addons which could affect
this? At the moment I'm running with Web Developer and Firebug
disabled. Is there a work around? Should I edit the plugin? I
haven't used Javascript before is there some tool to help me determine
where these syntax errors might be?

A second issue is the way some links are displayed.  e.g. I see http://www.giffmex.org";
title="Linkification: http://www.giffmex.org";>http://www.giffmex.org
when I'd expect something cleaner. Any ideas why this should occur?

TIA
TD
