 http://www.TiddlyTools.comis loading just fine.

However, the URL you typed above says .org, which is not the correct
domain, so of course, there are no tiddlers to retrieve from that
location.  In addition, there have been some recently reported
problems related to cross-domain security when importing using
FireFox5.  Please provide more details about your setup: what OS,
browser, and TiddlyWiki versions are you using?  Did it work
previously?  Have you recently upgraded anything?  Are you working
locally (file://) or remotely (http://)?  The more information you
provide, the more likely someone will be able to help.

How can I change easily inside a tiddler the size of my default font,
making it bigger or smaller?

I think this is a simple question but I looked in the internet and I
found answers for all kinds of text formatting except size

Thanks in advance

[tw] Re: How can I use tiddlySpace? Where can I get installation guidelines?

2011-05-09 Thread rro...@renatoroque.com
Thnks

Pls calarify me:

TiddlySpace or Tiddlyspot implies using them as server side? At
present I use my server www.renatoroque.com to upload my tiddlywiki
html file. I update it locally (offline) and then I upload it to the
server with new tiddlers.

Using tidllySpace or Tiddlyspot implies changing this?

 Hi rroque.
Tiddlyspace is already a usable website/platform. All you need is to
create your own space herehttp://tiddlyspace.com/and get started
 right away.
Now in addition to this the software which runs tiddlyspace is open
source. This means that you can download that software from
herehttps://github.com/TiddlySpace/tiddlyspaceand host it on your own
server and run a website just like tiddlyspace.com. Of course you do
not need to do that just to create a tiddly space for yourself because
it would be an overkill, you can just create a space for yourself on
 tiddlyspace.com.
Another thing, tiddlyspot is a separate website/platform. When
tiddlywiki was created a website hosting was needed where people could
created their own instances of tiddlywikis and for this tiddlyspot.com
was created. On this website one can create one's own tiddlywiki. A
tiddlywiki on tiddlyspot has its limitations. A tiddlywiki can only be
downloaded and uploaded whole, in one full file. So that even if you
have to update a single paragraph you'd have to upload and save the
whole file. This is because the tiddlywiki file is treated as one
 single unit.
Later on as tiddlywiki world developed a new model of tiddlyspace was
developed in which a tiddler is treated as a unit and can be updated.
Besides this a tiddlyspace can be included into other spaces. By doing
this any public tiddlers of that site shall start showing up in the
tiddlyspace they are included into. There are other features too.
You can think of tiddlyspot as separate, standalone tiddlywiki files.
On other hand tiddlyspace can be thought of as a web of spaces which
can intermingle with each other to a certain degree.
If you want to keep personal offline stuff in a tiddlywiki you can
download a tiddlwiki file from tiddlywiki.com. If you want a
tiddlywiki which has a copy offline as well as is hosted online, you
can create one at tiddlyspot.com. If you want just an online thing
then tiddlyspace should be your choice, cos it will be faster to save
 data.

CommentPlugin simply creates/modifies tiddlers in the current document
session.  To save those tiddler changes online, you need a server-
 side saving mechanism.  See:

I am using Comment Plugin by Eric Shulman. It appears to work fine
locally.
I had to set chkAutoSave checkbox and the AutoSave works locally, but
not at the server, where the save is not performed and I loose
comments, even afrer I forced chkHttpReadOnly= false.
Parameter chkHttpReadOnly was true because I wanted no editing at the
server side. Any other suggestion?

Thanks in advance

What do you mean by I assume at the server means on
*TiddlySpace* ???

I have been away from tidlly code updates for a long time and at that
time I do not remenber such expression as TiddlySpace. I updated the
last version of tiddly empty file recently.

I have a html tiddly file on my PC which I use to update it locally

If so, then you need to get the latest update to the plugin (v2.9.5)
which I've just posted on TiddlyTools:
    http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#CommentPlugin
    http://www.TiddlyTools.com/#CommentPluginInfo

The update adds handling for the 'defaultCustomFields' required by
TiddlySpace, so that tiddlers created by CommentPlugin will be
 properly recognized and saved online.

Otherwise, Eric's plugins add to the end of the containing tiddler (or

Although the plugin invokes autoSaveChanges(), that TWCore function
only saves the file if auto-saving has been enabled via the TW
standard chkAutoSave checkbox.  Otherwise, you must manually invoke
'save changes' to preserve your comments.
