[tw] Re: The Performance At Scale Bummer ... Initial Notes

2018-04-06 Thread wardjh

I will have the larger project ported over to the newest version of TW this
weekend and run it off my personal server.
For the smaller project I am going to keep adding 100 more records at a
time in the spreadsheet until I notice that it starts to slow down.

Thanks,

[tw] My TiddlyWiki is running very slow

2018-03-26 Thread wardjh
I am currently working on a TiddlyWiki project for my class at SunyPoly. I
have imported 82,952 tiddlers using the xlsx spreadsheet utilities.
With 82,952 tiddlers it runs very slow. The size of the whole project is
around 45mb. Does anybody know if I could somehow speed up the TiddlyWiki,
or have I pushed it to the limit.

Project can be found here - http://wardjhtrumptweets.tiddlyspot.com/

Thanks,

[tw] DropBox

2016-02-04 Thread wardjh
Hello.

I am a student just learning TiddlyWiki for a college course.

I have noticed that when running some scripts in my TiddlyWiki they seem to
work on my local drive. When uploaded to Dropbox they don't seem to work.

When I uploaded the same TiddlyWiki file to my server the scripts worked
great.

See the examples:

   - My Dropbox TiddlyWiki

   - My server TiddlyWiki

Notice the twitter follow script on my server TiddlyWiki on the bottom of
my landing page on both TiddlyWikis
This would make me believe that we are very limited how Dropbox is as a
host.

Any thoughts on if there might be a work around in Dropbox, as other
students don't have the option of having their own server.

Thanks,
