Re: [tw] [TW5] Anchor within a tiddler

2014-06-15 Thread Danielo Rodríguez
What do you mean with internal link? Any link within tiddlywiky will move you
to the top of the tiddler you're navigating to.

I have to insist to try substories. It really deserves the effort and it is the
closest thing to anchors. If you need help with it don't hesitate to ask.

Re: [tw] [TW5] Anchor within a tiddler

2014-06-14 Thread ParisWiki
Thank you Danielo and Jeremy,

In the time being, is there a way, for an internal link, to point to the
top of another tiddler?
When any ot them is longer than the screen length, when opening, it does
not show the top but anywhere towards the middle or the end. And the #
appendix does not work ...

Thanx !

There's no support for internal links within tiddlers at the moment. It's a
common request though.

A design principle of TiddlyWiki is to develop a comprehensive system for
aggregating and composing individual tiddlers into interactive
visualisations. The focus is on structures and operations between tiddlers
(the smallest unit of information), rather than within them. The TiddlyWiki
approach is to cut your content up into the smallest semantic units and
then thread them together with links and tags. The benefit is that smaller
chunks of content are more reusable.

Best wishes

Jeremy

Tiddlywiky is not intended for that type of use.
Did you tried substories? Check it out at tiddlywiky.com
