I've uploaded a copy of my current CKeditor set-up to
http://wildweb.no/tiddlywiki if anyone wants to try it out.

It's basically the CKeditorPlugin from
måns.dk/TW/tw265CKeditor.zipwith
some added code to create the wisywig button that I copied from the
original FCKeditorPlugin from
visualtw.ouvaton.org/VisualTW.html

Instead of having separate buttons for edit and wysiwyg, I'll probably set
it up so I'll only have one edit button, and I'll get wysiwyg or plain text
editing based on what kind of tiddler I'm opening.

Hi Gunnar,

Would you mind posting more details about how you were able to install
CKeditor on TiddlyWiki? I'm sure a lot of folk (including myself) would
love to learn how to implement this!

Thanks,

I'm trying out TiddlyWiki with CKeditor at the moment, and it's working
fine for me - and I'm running everything locally on my laptop.

The only problem I'm having is that so far the wysiwig button doesn't work
when there is a space in the tiddler name.

Great - good job!

There's one thing which *is* a tad better for TWs: Eric's
QuickEditPackage !!!

If you have Jon's TiddlyFileImportr plugin installed you *should* be
able to import all items from the package (all tiddlers starting with
"QuickEdit...") into your TW via the backstage menu: "import" in one
go..

Try also Eric's ImportTiddlersPlugin - from his instant bookmarklets
here: http://tiddlytools.com/#InstantBookmarklets
If it works - it's downright fabulous - because it allows you to sort
by tags etc ... :-)

Hi Måns and other folks.
I moved FCKEditor's folder a couple of times and found where it needed to be -
which is not where it's path statement points to=> but it's working now,
finally.

Having the WYSIWYG with an online TW is doggone near as perfect as this life
EVER gets !!!

Thanks.

Hi Måns and thanks.
It is on the same hosted space as the TW I got from your site:

My goal here:
> If it's the first scenario, I'm afraid you won't succeed.

Is to have this all online and reachable from wherever I may be using just a
browser.

I did follow your directions very carefully:
> You'll need to put the FCKeditor folder in a directory online - and your
> TWs too...

And thus far it is very good, but having the WYSIWYG would be even better !!!

Thanks.

Are you trying to use FCKeditor and TiddlyWiki from your local system
- or from the net?
If it's the first scenario, I'm afraid you won't succeed.
A year ago it was possible to use FCKeditor or CKeditor in a TW on
your local file system.
Security restrictions added to all browsers (I know of) has made it
impossible to use it like this anymore...

You'll need to put the FCKeditor folder in a directory online - and
your TWs too...

Good luck!
