cockroach on it.

It's about teaching neuroscience. Check out the video ("the cockroach 
beatbox") in full screen mode.  It's worth it if only for the looks 
of horror, disgust, and fascination on the faces of the kids watching 
the demo. And for the use of an iPad as an oscilloscope to track 
neural activity.

I don't know whether Pinterest is a "girl" thing or not but
it does appear that it may be a "legal" thing; see:

See, the issue is if one puts up a copyrighted photo/whatever
on Pinterest without explicit permission from the copyright
holder, one is breaking the law.  As the article above makes
clear, this is not obvious to most users of Pinterest and it may
come as a surprise to someone who is contacted by a lawyer
about unauthorized use of copyrighted materials.

Could make for an interesting discussion on how to use info
one finds on the internets..
