[tips] Imax of brain?

2015-11-12 Thread Gerald Peterson
I want to see if there is a good movie, Imax, 3D or otherwise, that might
provide a valuable inner exploration of the brain. I want to try to urge the
use a local planetarium's theatre projection system for such use. Any ideas?
Thnx!

I am reminded of Groucho Marx's old line: Outside of a dog, a book is man's
best friend. Inside of a dog it's too dark to read.

"The Secret Life of Brain" is getting kind of old but is still relevant.
This was series of five episodes, each focusing on a different phase
of life. There's some info about this on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/Secret-Life-Brain/dp/B000XNZ7KC/ref=sr_1_1?s=movies-tv=UTF8=1447352404=1-1=secret+life+of+the+brain
I assume that your planetarium can play DVDs.

The series is based on Richard Restak's book of the same name
which was published by the John Henry Press; see:
http://research.amnh.org/users/cliu/OneUniverse/One_Universe/www.nap.edu/catalog/10112.html
And from Restak's website, a fuller description:

Tipsters might be familiar with this book or some of his other books
(see his

website).

Thnx!
