EPA was great. I especially enjoyed a talk by Steven Pinker on his new book on
applying cognitive/psychological/linguistic science to understanding why
academic writing is so poor. It was a good talk - funny, and interesting.
I'm on the board of directors of EPA so of course I cannot share all the juicy
gossip in this public forum (!).

The Eastern Psychological Association (EPA) held its annual meeting
in Boston this past weekend but I could not attend. I do know that
some Tipsters were presenting, so, how was it? Is attendance maintaining
itself or does it seem to be going reduced relative to previous years?
