Hi!
I have not heard of cold laser at all, but it sure sounds encouraging.
Frank, have you heard of this?

Hello All

Today I was speaking with a lady who has intense nerve pain from some kind of
knee or leg injury. She said she was getting cold laser treatments and that
the treatments really helped. She was thinking that perhaps they would work
for the nerve pain that comes with TM.

So, I was wondering if anyone has either heard of this treatment, or has had
the treatment, or any other info on this cold laser for TM.

Thanks

Janet

I looked it up, and it doesn't seem to have any long-term effect.  I know
chiropractors use it.  It might be good for short term relief and they suggest
that heat may work as well.  I'm interested as to what others may have to say.

I just don't understand all this;
In the old days the press and others knew the weaknesses of President Kennedy,
for example; but they kept quiet so as not to debase the station of the office
of President of the United States in the eyes of the world or our own
citizenry, including those serving in the military and for whom the President
is their Commander in Chief.  Now, it seems that people will do anything to
discredit the President, even lie about what actually happened or deliberately
misrepresent the facts.
Could this be the worst political atmosphere we have had since Andrew Jackson
was President?
Think about this fact: unity is a spiritual characteristic and begins with
moral education first, followed by academics.  Without proper moral values
unity is impossible.  Certainly, there has been no diminution in America's
potential to out-produce, out-invent, out-feed any other country on earth.
What is in doubt is if we have the unity of purpose and sense of mutual
community that got us here in the first place to move ahead with what needs to
be done.  How much responsibility do Americans feel toward other Americans of
different leanings, religious persuasions, linguistic backgrounds or national
origin?
Ask the public what they know about the verities of their professed religious
faith and the answer, in word and deed, is very little.  And whose fault is
this?  Who has fallen down on the job?

I thought you might find the following article from snopes.com

  It explains the truth

Yes, the political atmosphere has been polluted to the nth degree this elevtion
year.

Mensch Rummny keeps saying that Obama has failed to deliver the jobs he
promised. What Da Mensch doesn't say that such a failure is due to the
insidious, persistent and strenous obstruction by the reTROpublican party which
gets louder by the day.

Hi,
As a retired manager of a chiropractic clinic, I can try to explain how we used
cold laser therapy.

When a person is injured with a sprain/strain to an extremity, such as an
ankle, ice is applied for 20 minutes at a time, about every couple of hours.
This is to reduce or shrink inflammation of the injured tissue.

Cold laser therapy is used to reduce the bruising and/or to speed up the
healing of the resultant bruising.

Injury to the spinal cord such as ours (TM) is not an injury to an extremity.
The pain we experience is due to the messages received by the brain that our
leg, foot, arm, etc. are injured, and these are "confused messages" due to the
scarring or lesion on the spinal cord.

I have self-treated with cold laser to reduce swelling and bruising when I fall
down (due to lack of balance caused by TM), but it has never proven to be
beneficial for me for any other issues.
Hope this helps.
Debbie
