The only thing that I know about fish oil or flax seed either one, is that
they are

supposed to be good for you. I've never taken either one, yet.

I wonder if 6000mg of the flax seed would do the same thing?

yeah, really.

Did you go up slowly from 1 or 2, or did you just start taking 6 in one
day?

I'm interested 'cause I've got about 15 pounds that need to go
somewhere...

I thought neurontin was in capsule form, at least it was when I was taking
it, so

I keep wondering how you can take 1/2. Just curious

Re: [TMIC] OT - Tom Carr

2006-01-28 Thread Lanora Hodgson

Barbara,
Thanks for looking up this information, and for sending it to the
list...

I was/am one of you who first thing remembered Tom's cruel prank on
the list about 2 or 3 years ago. I also am one who could never tolerate Tom
on the list, and had no contact with him off the list, except when his wife
died.
However, after reading what Barbara found, and going to the web site listed
(www.lifestorynet.com_ (http://www.lifestorynet.com/) and reading some of
the same things there, I tend to now believe that he probably did die.
Or, I am sure that if anyone wanted to, they could call the funeral home
that
was listed in the obit., (Heritage Lifestory Funeral Home) amd find out for
sure.
The funny/sad thing is, that by Tom pulling off his ''suicide prank''
everyone is

skeptical of what may be the real thing.
Also, didn't Tom write something about being at peace (or something similar)
because he had found God, a short while before he left the list. Wish we
could still go to the e-scribe archives, and see what we could find.
Has anyone checked the MS list, to see if there is anything there?

Sure hope that no one looks at me like this when it's my time to go.

Nuff for now...

I looked up where Tom lived in the TM Directory and searched for newspapers
in his area for obituary notices. Here's one from the Grand Rapids Press:

   Thomas Carr
CARR- Mr. Thomas Carr, age 45, passed away suddenly Tuesday, December 20,
2005. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Carr; brother, Bill
Carr;

wife Angela; daughter, Christina. He is survived by his wife.  Debra;
daughters, Nichole and Natalie; son, Tommy; mother, Lucille (Chuck) Thomas
of Tampa,
FL; sister, Juanita (Gary) Baldwin of Grand Rapids; brothers, Richard Carr
of
Batavia, NY, Jack (Sherri) Carr of Comstock Park, Angela's parents, Kay
and
Ben DeVries of Byron Center and several nephews and nieces. Funeral
services
will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 27, 2005 at the Church of Jesus
Christ

of the Latter Day Saints, 2670 56th SW with Bishop David Pace presiding.
Interment Oak Grove Cemetery. Friends may meet the family at the Heritage
Lifestory Funeral Home - Van't Hof Chapel, 851 Leonard St. NW on Monday
from 2 to 4

and 7 to 9 p.m. You may sign the guestbook or leave a memory of Thomas by
visiting _www.lifestorynet.com_ (http://www.lifestorynet.com/) . Memorial
contributions may be made to Kay and Ben DeVries, 8485 Woodhaven Dr. SW,
Byron

Center 49315 for the benefit of Natalie and Tommy.

I don't know if this is the same Tom -- if it is, he's remarried. Our Tom
wasn't LDS unless he became that since we heard from him -- Tom was an
agnostic

-- but his wife may be.
