Barbara,
Thanks for looking up this information, and for sending it to the
list...
I was/am one of you who first thing remembered Tom's cruel prank on
the list about 2 or 3 years ago. I also am one who could never tolerate Tom
on the list, and had no contact with him off the list, except when his wife
died.
However, after reading what Barbara found, and going to the web site listed
(www.lifestorynet.com_ (http://www.lifestorynet.com/) and reading some of
the same things there, I tend to now believe that he probably did die.
Or, I am sure that if anyone wanted to, they could call the funeral home
that
was listed in the obit., (Heritage Lifestory Funeral Home) amd find out for
sure.
The funny/sad thing is, that by Tom pulling off his ''suicide prank''
everyone is
skeptical of what may be the real thing.
Also, didn't Tom write something about being at peace (or something similar)
because he had found God, a short while before he left the list. Wish we
could still go to the e-scribe archives, and see what we could find.
Has anyone checked the MS list, to see if there is anything there?
Sure hope that no one looks at me like this when it's my time to go.
Nuff for now...

I don't know if this is the same Tom -- if it is, he's remarried. Our Tom
wasn't LDS unless he became that since we heard from him -- Tom was an
agnostic
-- but his wife may be.

Yes, I sent an email back to this Deb person. However I have heard
nothing
back. If this is Tom playing a trick, and he picked me to start it, I
cannot
understand why he would do this. I have always been nothing but nice to
Tom. Unless maybe this is his way of getting me to stop emailing him? If
that
is what he wants, just send me an email Tom and tell me factually
