I visited with Jude this afternoon and shared your prayers and well wishes with her. She smiled when I mentioned that I had several responses from the group. I reminded Jude of her post "Does anyone remember Jude". She admitted that she heard from people, but didn't respond. I'm not sure if she read the responses herself or if someone read them to her, but either way she didn't have the energy to respond to them.
Jude is currently in an in-home hospice program and her husband is still her primary care provider. Her comfort and care are now provided by hospice nurses and doctors. She was placed in a facility (Brian's House) for 10 days, but came home at her request. Jude is not able to talk on the telephone, but we can still hope that someone will read emails to her. Gunny's email vide was perfect timing. It will help me through my thinking process. Patti - Michigan
