I'm so sorry, Gunny. I just lost my mom a little over a year ago and still ache over missing her. We knew her health wasn't good, but thought we had several more years -- but she went very suddenly. I know she was would have been glad not to endure any more hospitalizations. She hated them. But for us it would have been nice to be able to say good-bye and have a last hug. I am glad you are able to have some fore-warning and will be able to carry out some of her last wishes. I'll be thinking of you and praying for you over the next few days. Hi Gunny I am so sorry to hear about your Mom, I well remember you having to help her when she fell, you must be so sad, its hard to see her unwell and not be able to do anything for her, I lost my Mom in 1999, it was very sudden, I am alway thankful that she died in her sleep and was able to look after herself till the last, she was 84yrs. so I am thinking about you and will say a prayer for both of you to help you thru the next while.
