Re: [TMIC] Support groups

2009-09-20 Thread Heyjude48458

Dear Kevin,

Thanks for setting me straight on my wandering thoughts. I did go back
and re-read some of the email and now I get it. I am lucky enough to have
someone in my backyard and she has been very kind in coming for a visit when
she is out and about. It's wonderful.

I am going to make an effort to get myself out of this bed every day and
into my chair even though I get beat up every time I do it. Dave will take
me anywhere I want to go and there is another member that is about an hour
away whom I want to go and see.

The only problem is that I can no longer recall who it is that lives in
Detroit, Mi. so I am going to post this to the List as well as to you.

You are such a kind, giving and forgiving person. We certainly need you
in this group and not off running around to other sites. But, maybe
spreading our wings and meeting other people with TM is a good idea. I just
want
them to come to us. I am such a selfish person.

I need to know if anyone is emailing with Gunny. I haven't heard a word
from him since Pam died and he was very close to her.

If you are reading this Gunny, I had to let Pam go in order to get on with
my life and so I quit holding on to Pam and let her go to her new home in
Heaven. I realized that I was holding her back from reaching her new home
where she deserved to be.

Letting our loved ones go is the greatest gift we can give them after they
have passed on from this World. There is another home waiting for them
and I hope that they have made it there. They deserve to be in Heaven where
they belong.

And, I hope we all stay where we belong, on this site that has nurtured us
until we were strong enough to deal with TM in our own ways. God Bless Us
Everyone.

Jude.

Jude,
If I can pipe in on thisI don't believe any established groups are
breaking up at allthis all started from a thread I started asking for
folks that were in N.E. Ohio because I was looking at starting a regional
group
for us here in N.E. Ohio.
Some of this stemmed from the fact that Gilly had just recently met for
the first time, another TM'r and was thrilled to no end. I posted something
about wanting to get a group together because there may be others out there
that might want to meet another TM'r and they may just have someone in
their backyard.
That's when someone else piped up and said it would be a good idea to
start posting where everyone was from because even though many of us know
each other through the list, there is a possibility that some of us might be
in closer proximity to others than we realize which would be conducive to
arranging a meeting with other TMr's.

I believe that's all this is about.
Kevin W.

Hi Jude,

Our group is not breaking up. We are a strong group. You are correct we each
have been there for each other and I am sure none of us would change that.

I asked the question about where people lived, hoping that I would be able to
meet another TM'er. I inadvertantly left the subject as support groups.

I am very lonely and would have liked to meet someone in Massachusetts who I
might meet once a month with.

This group is going to stay intact ... have no fear :)

everyone signed where you are from with each post. I started doing it when I

and helpful as it has always been. However in the section where the state

being a New Jersey(central) resident would be very
interested in hearing from other N.J. members who would be interested in
starting up our own group. Please e mail me and I will form a list of all

Robert,

I would be interested in forming a group. I am from the South Jersey
area, and would be interested to meet other people with TM--in
particular, if there's anyone from our area who is younger (I am 22),
but really anyone who can relate to the daily routine of having TM
would be great.
