Your fingers came up along with your thumb
if it was just your thumb, your fingers would 
not move...!
It's almost like the movement is starting in

how hard you've worked to help all of us and then to 
see proof that improvements can come after 20 years
is a miracle.I'm sorry that you're feeling pain
when you move...(I guess none of us thought to tell
you that pain comes back with movement!) There's
meds for pain, so keep on moving!!

Oh my goodness, Jim, I am so happy for you.  And yes I will openly admit I 
cried too!  Tears of such joy that after 20+ years you could move your thumb.  
I'm sorry you have such pain in your lower back though.  All of this makes we 
wonder what all of our great neuros might have to say about this.  They must be
